Psalms 18:30. “You are the wrap-around God giving grace to me.” TPT
Holy Spirit woke me up at 3:00 this morning. Wish I could say it was 3:33. I consider myself part of Dutch Sheet’s tribe and if it’s not 2:22 – it could at least be 3:33. But it wasn’t.
Prayed in tongues for a while –praying my sprit would come to the front and my soul to take a step back. Praying that I would discern the spirit world instead of trying to figure what was going on in my mind.
And a phrase came to me – “You are wrapped in his presence”
The picture in mind was not the armor of God that we have studied since felt board days. (Yes – I remember when colored tv was the latest “new” thing.) My mind picture was a woman in a beautiful sweater coat thing with long sleeves and a hood. My next thought was the talit that Christ wore – soft, woven, a announcement to the world of who he was. I wanted to be wrapped in whatever would let the spirit world know who I was.
So, did a word search for ‘wrapped’ in my Bible app. There were more references then I expected and this one caught my eye:
Psalm 18:35 “you empower me for victory with your wrap around presence” TPT
Ok – that had my attention.
Then this one:
Psalm 18:32 “you have wrapped me in power”
