Another Hurricane is trying to steal time from us and destroy our homes, possessions and lives.
How should we react as Christians?
- Hurricanes are not sent by God. John 10:10 tells us: “A thief has only one thing in mind- he wants to steal, slaughter and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more then you expect- life in it’s fullness until you overflow.”
- We are to do what Christ did. Mark 4:37-39: “A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.”
- You have to speak to the problem. “Jesus replied, ” I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to the mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea, and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
- What to say: I am speaking to Hurricane Florence. We are not subject to you- you are subject to King Jesus and our words. We command your millibars to rise and suck the life out of you. We command the Host of angels to go in and shred the bands around the storm. We command Your winds to weaken and dismantle. You will downgrade now in the Name of Jesus. There will peace in the Name of Jesus.
